Soul Brothers, the new album by Johnny Rawls and Otis Clay, was #3 on the Living Blues October radio chart. Voodoo Queen and Only You Know And I Know from the album have both made the top 5 of Roots Music Contemporary Blues weekly chart the past two weeks and three other songs from Soul Brothers have made the top 25.

Johnny Rawls won Most Outstanding Blues Singer in the 21st Annual Living Blues Critics’ Poll announced August 7, 2014. Remembering O.V., by Johnny Rawls with special guest Otis Clay, was selected Southern Soul Album of the Year. It was the third time Johnny has won Southern Soul Album of the Year, and the fourth time in the past six years the award has gone to a Catfood Records Album.

Johnny Rawls’ and Otis Clay’s new album Soul Brothers will be released in October. Otis is a member of the Blues Hall of Fame and has received Grammy nominations along with many Blues Music Awards nominations. Between Johnny and Otis, they have over 20 Blues Music Award nominations.

Daunielle’s self titled debut album received a rave review in the July issue of Downbeat. It will be on the Downbeat list of Best Albums of the Year in the December issue with its high rating.

Johnny Rawls is nominated for Male Soul Artist of the Year and Outstanding Blues Singer for the 2014 Living Blues Awards.

Barbara Carr is nominated for Female Soul Artist of the Year.

Sandy Carroll’s Good To Be Home single returned to the Indie Country Charts top 50. It had reached # 3 earlier this year.

James Armstrong’s Guitar Angels made top ten of both the Living Blues and Roots Blues Music airplay charts.
